Nivlo updates · 10 August 2026

This update adds support for more professional formats and clearer feedback for downloads that need preparation.

More supported formats

Nivlo now accepts PSB, LRV, INSV, Markdown, SRT and AIFF files (.aif, .aiff, .aifc). You can upload them through the same flow used for your other assets.

How it works

  • PSB files receive a browser-friendly preview when their size allows it.
  • LRV and INSV files can use Nivlo’s video player.
  • Markdown documents are rendered with formatting, while SRT subtitles can be read directly in the preview.
  • AIFF files can be stored, organised, shared and downloaded; playback depends on browser compatibility.

Impact: teams can keep more of their working files in one place without converting them only for organisation or delivery.

Visible archive preparation status

When you download a folder, Nivlo shows “Preparing archive…” until the browser actually starts the download. If the archive cannot be prepared, you receive an error message instead of waiting without an explanation.

Impact: you can tell whether the download is still being prepared, has started or needs another attempt.

Smoother navigation between workspaces

When your access to one company changes, Nivlo keeps you signed in to your other available workspaces and moves you to one you can use.

Impact: a change in one workspace no longer interrupts your work in the other companies connected to your account.

Easier-to-control selections

Closing the context panel now also clears its selection, including on mobile.

Impact: files are no longer left selected in the background without visible controls.

Very large files

For exceptionally large professional images, Nivlo may skip preview generation when it would require excessive resources. The original file remains available for organisation and download.

Impact: a difficult preview does not block access to the original asset.
